Optional Accessorial Services and Additional Fees

Stairs Above 2nd Floor

First 14 steps are included at no additional charge to the customer, there is an additional fee for any stairs beyond the initial 14.

Example: Condo located on the 4th floor with no accessible elevator.

Long Carry Fee

First 75 feet from the back of the moving truck to the front door of the home/unit is included at no additional charge to the customer, there will be an additional fee for anything beyond the 75ft.

Example: Restricted parking that forces the moving truck to park outside of the complex or far from the building/home.

Shuttle Service

Required when our truck cannot access your street due to narrow roads, low bridges, or parking restrictions.

Example: Historic neighborhoods or narrow streets

Packing

Charges may be applied if the customer is not fully packed prior to the movers unless otherwise specified (i.e. full packing service).

Packing supplies may also be charged per item in the event the customer requires them at pickup such as tape, boxes, bubble wrap etc.

Example: Boxes are packed but are not taped close, the carrier may charge the customer for a roll of tape.

Proactive Tips

1.Transparency: Inform your booking agent and customer support of any potential challenges the movers may encounter prior to the arrival.
2.Plan Ahead: Speak to all parties involved to navigate the moving day, prepare for parking, elevator access etc.
3.Ask Questions: Don't be afraid to ask questions, customer support is available 7 days a week to answer any questions that you may have.
